Community Ministries

One of the things we like to say around here is “in the church, tell the story - and in the world, live the story.” The story of God making all things new and bringing peace and redemption to the world is a story in which we have a crucial role to play.

We strive to live Jesus’ good news story in our corner of the world through a various number of ministries to our community. But even beyond these named ministries, we consider it our daily mission to strive to see the needs of people around us and meet them.

If you or someone you know has a need, please reach out to our office and we’ll see what our church can do to meet your need.

The Outpost

The Outpost Care & Share Store is a local thrift shop in downtown Sugar Grove that was birthed 10 years ago out of a desire to serve our little town in a new way. The store is entirely staffed by volunteers from our church, and all the money spent at the store goes back into our community.

The store takes donations of clean modern clothing, furniture, and anything else we can sell!
We are open 11am-5pm Tuesday - Friday. Open Saturday 10am-2pm.
The Outpost is located on Main Street in Sugar Grove next to The Bucket!

Food Pantry

Our food pantry, located in our gym building, serves the Eisenhower and Youngsville School District areas. We are open with friendly volunteers on site to assist you every Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm.

We also have a bi-monthly Saturday food distribution program (Second Harvest Food Pantry). This program serves all of Warren County, PA.

Upcoming food distribution dates:

- December 14, 2024
- February 15, 2025
- April 19, 2025
- June 21, 2025
- August 16, 2025

Annual Cruise-In

Every year, we organize Sugar Grove’s Annual Cruise-In Car Show at the old elementary school in downtown Sugar Grove! Each year we invite everyone to come out and see all the classic cars, trucks, bikes, and more. Proceeds each year benefit a different local charitable organization. The Sugar Grove Fire Hall hosts a BBQ Chicken dinner, and our Teens group sells hot dogs, chips, popcorn, and drinks to raise funds for summer fun! The Cruise-In is one way that we love and serve our sweet community every year.

Blessing Baskets

Each month, our church gives out what we call ‘Blessing Baskets’ to people in our community or surrounding area who may be going through a tough time. These baskets often include cards, meat, baked goods, gift cards, flowers, and more.

If you have an idea of someone who might be blessed by a basket, please let us know by calling our office.

EHS Campus Fellowship

On Wednesdays, we help lead a bible study group that meets during all lunch periods at Eisenhower Middle/High School. We love being able to minister to the kids on their ‘home turf,’ but we also love encouraging the students to grow in leadership and ministry to their friends and teachers. If you’re interested in helping with our Campus Fellowship group, let us know by calling the church office.
